Delete your account step by step
- Sign in to Janitor AI in your browser while you still have access.
- Click your profile or avatar and open Settings or account management.
- Look for a Privacy, Account, or Danger zone area. Labels shift between updates, so scan for anything about deleting or deactivating.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm the request, re-entering your password or a confirmation code if prompted.
- If you cannot find a self-serve button, use the site's support or contact channel and request deletion from the email on your account.
What happens to your data
Account deletion is meant to remove your profile, the bots you created, and your saved conversations. A few specifics:
- Deletion is intended to be permanent, so back up first.
- Bots you published that other users copied or saved may still exist under their accounts.
- Your API key or proxy is not part of Janitor AI. Those belong to a separate provider, so revoke them there.
